No I do not have a drink problem, or a drug problem, unless you count books as being my drug. This payday March 31st, I have bought twelve books (listed in my Stacking the Shelves) and it’s only the April 16th! So I am setting myself a challenge: I am not going to buy another book till June 1st. I am already getting nervous about as Career of Evil by Robert Galbraith (J.K. Rowling) has just arrived in the shop were me and Laura work in paperback. And no I will not be asking Laura or any other friend to buy me books, even though I have asked Laura persistently to buy me books especially Jeffrey Archer’s The Clifton Chronicles.
I have a pile of books I have not even read, so I will be reading in them instead. So each and every Saturday, for the next six weeks, I will tell you how I am getting on. I will still be working in said shop with books, working with books, taking in the New Releases……..my heart just started beating faster and I am getting the shakes already: I only bought a book yesterday…….. Oh Dear!!!!
