I am well into my second week of rehab, or as Laura calls it ‘the book ban’. I have read three of my unread books and am more than halfway through another: Shopaholic to the Rescue by Sophie Kinsella. A really fun light read (review and author appreciation coming soon).
I almost fell off the wagon when I saw Ghost by Danielle Steel in a charity shop for £1. I normally don’t buy books second hand, but if I was not in rehab, I would have done it. It was in good nick though. I read it when I was going through my Danielle Steel phase, one of the first of hers I read. Two narratives paralleled in time. Loved it. I did read Bittersweet too and then bought some others, but they got a bit samey. Nevermind though.

New books came in the delivery and I have added them to my wish-list:
- Hex by Thomas Olde Heuvelt
- Katherine Howard: The Tragic Story of Henry VIII's Fifth Queen by Josephine Wilkinson
And ones I have read and need to re-read:
- Once in a House on Fire By Andrea Ashworth
- The Harper Connelly Omnibus: Grave Sight, Grave Surprise, An Ice Cold Grave, Grave Secret by Charlaine Harris
And ones I just want:
- Beautiful Music for Ugly Children by Kirstin Cronn-Mills
- Some Assembly Required: The Not-So-Secret Life of a Transgender Teen by Arin Andrews
Roll on the 1st of June!
